Today we are speaking to to Sean Schill admin of Facebook group SCREENUSED MOVIE PROPS.

Sean started collecting movie props 10 plus years ago. His main interest is Horror props of any kind. He started SCREENUSED MOVIE PROPS to connect and share his fantastic collection and has found he is not the only one who loves collecting these Iconic pieces

This is an Answer Question based Interview I conducted with Sean.

1. Which Medium or service do you use to watch Horror Movies –

Sean is old-school who will more often than not will whip out a DVD, however he will also use the standard services of Netflix, Amazon and whenever horror movies are shown on the Dish Network. This shows there is still plenty of great content on your television and through the popular streaming services without the need of a horror dedicated service such as Shudder.

2. What is your favourite horror sub genre

The Majority of real horror fans always seem to gravitate to Slasher Movies and Sean is no different.

3. Can you recommend us a list of the best horror movies that everyone must watch

Sean had quite a list of movies to recommend here but his favourites include…

  1. Nightmare on elm street (original)

2. Friday the 13th

3. Texas Chaisaw Massacre 2

4. Hellraiser

5. Halloween

Audition(1999) – Audition is an Asian horror. Seven years after the death of his wife, company executive Aoyama is invited to sit in on auditions for an actress. Leafing through the resumés in advance, his eye is caught by Yamazaki Asami, a striking young woman with ballet training.

Brain Dead (Dead alive N.America 1992) – When a Sumatran rat-monkey bites Lionel Cosgrove’s mother, she’s transformed into a zombie and begins killing (and transforming) the entire town while Lionel races to keep things under control.

Jump-Scare – Easy answer for Sean. Again we find a lot of real horror fans love the adrenaline of a good jump scare.

6. Who is Your Favourite Horror Director

Sean’s’ favourite director and producer for horror movies is Wes Craven who most will know as the brains behind Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream.

Robert Englund of-course, we have heard this a few times over now and no surprise, Freddy is one of our most loved monsters in all of horror cinema.

6. What is your Favourite Horror Movie Production Studio

New Line Studio – Brings us classics such as The Evil Dead And Nightmare on Elm Street
